This marks my first post on here! If you’re new here, welcome!

If I’m being honest, the past couple of months I’ve been spraying and praying job application in hopes of getting a job has been demoralising and not been working out in my favour.

This was further influenced by recent news of the mass layoffs at UPS, Amazon, Intel and more.

It can be easy to blame the job market on now being able to secure a tech job today, and just wait it out. But I choose to take action starting today.

🚀 I will be Turning My Curiosity into Code Everyday Until I Land a Tech Job.

This is in hopes of 1) getting eyes, discussions on my posts/builds/findings and 2) learning new skills along the way, especially if there are any interesting finds in the developers world and of course 3) having fun with this!

Expect posts about my daily life and creating solutions/answers for them:

  • Using data to answer our everyday questions (sometimes nonsensical)
  • New builds (“If only I could create an app that…”)
  • Thought process, and new learnings that I find out along the way (it’s honestly just self-journaling, which I might as well share!)

If you enjoy the intersection of software, data, and applying automation to our daily lives, stay tuned — there’s a lot coming!

💼 I’m currently looking for software engineering roles (backend, full-stack, or automation-focused).
I’m currently based in Seattle but I’m open to relocation within the United States.
📬 Feel free to reach out at LinkedIn or sinclairlimzy@gmail.com if something I built resonates with you! Looking forward to your email!
